1972 Oct - Sonny Loke begins training aikido at Chung Ling High School under Pak Wai Phang Sensei. Pak Sensei is seated in the centre of the front row.

1974 Jan - Sonny Loke is made the president of the club that year.

1975 - Sonny Loke takes his shodan (first level black belt) at the Chung Ling High School dojo and is made assistant instructor to Pak Sensei.
